Throughout the history of mankind, there has always been an individual or a group of individuals who have deemed himself to be superior. This master-slave relationship has occurred skin color. Friday is slave and Crusoe is his master. This relationship has also occurred in A Grain of Wheat. Britain is ruled upon Kenyan people. When we read Robinson Crusoe novel at that time we can see master and slave relation, Robinson as white person who is master of Friday. Friday as black slave his native place and Friday's moral values or his identity down than Robinson's identity. And show that Friday's native people like uncivilized that why Robinson try to make them civilized.

But this novel quite different described, because this novel is point of view of the colonies. Also Mau Mau rebellion party fight for native land. It is not about the struggle for freedom or about the 'lonely African'. This novel written by African writer that why here we can see native described is completely different from British writers. When we read Robinson Crusoe novel their master portrait other native land and they show himself powerful than other. While we read A Grain of wheat novel in this novel we can notice that here is native land people fight for their freedom but this is not seen in the Robinson Crusoe novel because this is novel by British writer.
