Shashi Tharoor born 9 march 1956 in London is an Indian politician, writer and a former career international diplomat who is currently serving as member of parliament, Lok sabha from Thiruvananthapuram, kerala, since 2009. he also serves as chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on external Affairs and all India professionals congress.

Shashi Tharoor is one of the best critical thinker, writer, India politician and good speaker and leader also. the conference is an acclaim as a considerable success of Tharoor. Shashi Tharoor that kind of argument give according to GDP record so he is not said without evidence. so Britisher also accept they done unfair with India.

Shashi Tharoor also mentioned Robert clave name who was Indian Railway pioneer and Shashi Tharoor use for them Hindi word "Loot by Britisher" because they started train for their transportation not for India people transportation. even they made road and railway India people's tax. Shashi Tharoor is an acclaimed writer, having authored 18 bestelling works of fiction and non-fiction since 1981, which are centered on India and it's history, culture, film, politics, society, foreign policy and more related themes.

Shashi Tharoor also claim that Britisher ruler treat Indian people as slaves he also gave example during world war second four million people was died that for responsible Britisher. Britishers nature like violence and racism that is reality of that colonial and Shashi Tharoor laugh on this fact "sun never set on British Empire". so he said god also could trust on them if they done wrong in the darkness. Shashi Tharoor blamed on British. Shashi Tharoor also mentioned how Britisher change Indian culture and education. that type of colonaied Indian education. and now we are studying English language is communication language to other countries.

The book, "An Era of Darkness" is referring the idea of post colonial literature. this book describe reality and hidden condition of the era. i find some interesting key points related to the social, political, economical and class conflicts. Ergo, an Era of Darkness without a doubt the most important book of non-fiction. an era of Darkness renders yeoman's service to the entire subject of Indian's colonial. this book most of the arguments paraded in favour of the "British Raj" by diverse quarters and putting them down, warts and all, in our place, and some arguments are limited to specific fields, which, in turn are as diverse as economics, mechanics of storage of food grains, or a history of textiles, ship-building and the railways. these is where An Era of Darkness makes it simple for everyone.
